“Through Her Chestnut Eyes” by Debora Farias, Jacksonville Branch
While on holiday in Brasilia, Brazil, Debora Farias had 16 hours of private instruction with the Brazilian-Italian artist Felipe Salsano. She painted “Through Her Chestnut Eyes” during that time under his guidance.
Painted with such skill – the light, the shadows, the expression. I am wondering what she is thinking, what she sees.
This is a stunning painting! How wonderful to learn from another master.
Beautiful, a classic!
Lovely. I like the sculptured look and the piercing eyes. Great you were the Featured Art.
In the Fall you should tell us about the painting instruction.
That is a beautiful painting- he taught her well. I am reminded of the girl with the pearl earring.
Beautiful, sensitive, so well done!
