Thank you for the warm and fragrant memory
Cycling down summer lanes
In and out of sunlight and shadow
Chasing the crystal wind
Scented with clover
Ruffled peony garden
Heavy blossoms nodding pink and white
Purple thistle
Queen Anne’s Lace
Field of green and gold adorned with bees
We stopped more to savor than to rest
Somewhere far and away
A hawk cried out into the blue and lovely sky
Thank you Brenda Layman for taking me along on a bike ride.
Indeed, it is fun to savor those moments in our life.
How lovely. Thank you for the reminder to take time to appreciate all of the beauty in our midst — all there for the taking, all for us to enjoy.
“The world is so full of a number of things, I ’m sure we should all be as happy as kings.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
Very nice.
