“Shadows,” photography by Polly Curran, Sarasota Branch (Florida)
Artist’s Statement:
We occasionally travel to the Miami area just for the Fairchild Botanical Gardens and the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. I enjoy the chance to find new and creative opportunities within our Florida natural environment.
First you must be observant to see what’s there and what’s possible. Then you must frame it so your audience sees what caught your eye. For me this is the wonder of photagraphy: focusing the eye of the viewer on something they may have otherwise missed. Beautifully created!
Nicely done.
Very striking photo! Thanks for sharing.
